The ideal time for a posed newborn session is between 7 to 14 days after birth. During this brief window, babies are typically very sleepy and naturally curl into those adorable womb-like positions, making it easier to gently pose them in a safe, comfortable way. After the two-week mark, babies tend to be more alert and less flexible, which can make these classic poses harder to achieve.
